In order to get over Schillinger, Beecher gets high. But he ends up getting the wrong man. This brings him back to Oz.

Beecher returns to the pod where he once had a love interest, Keller. He develops feelings for her. Luckily, he doesn’t have to kill her. However, Beecher is still haunted by the death of his wife.

Schillinger is an Aryan, and has a reputation for rape and violence. He is a member of the Brotherhood, a group of inmates who believe in a white supremacist ideology.

Does Chris Keller Come Back Oz?

The first episode of Oz, entitled “Behind These Walls” (as well as the novelization) introduced a new character named Chris Keller. Played by Christopher Meloni, he was an inmate in the prison. He served 88 years with parole access within fifty years.

Beecher’s wife was murdered by the Aryans. It is later revealed that she wrote a suicide note after her death.

When he was in prison, Beecher was able to get his sentence overturned by using his law degree. Eventually, he was freed. However, he feels guilty for his involvement in Andy’s death.

Beecher and Schillinger try to work through their differences. Both sides are involved in a victim-attacker interaction program led by Sister Pete. However, Beecher is still unable to forgive Keller.
