The first step in the process is to connect the computer to the TV using an HDMI cable. While you can use the TV’s built-in wireless connection to mirror your PC screen, the best method is to connect the TV to your computer directly. This will improve the picture quality and reduce lag times. It is important to note that if you have an older product, the HDMI cable might only be compatible with VGA, which offers lower video quality. The VGA connection transmits only the video, so you’ll need an audio cable to make your voice heard. Once connected, go to the Settings menu on your PC and select Display. Then, select your TV under System > Display. Next, click “Cast” in the upper right corner of your desktop or laptop and click “Start” to begin screen mirroring.
