The cash app is one of the most popular mobile payments platforms. With it, customers can make purchases, send money, and even cancel transactions. The refund process is relatively simple. It generally takes up to 5 business days, but it can be longer if your credit card was used. For example, if you made a payment via debit card, you may have to wait up to three days before you receive the money back. However, if you used Cash App for an event, you will receive your money immediately.
To get a refund, go to the Activity tab on the Cash App. Tap on the three dots icon. Select “Refund” and then tap “Ok”. In some cases, the refund will take longer if the transaction is complex. If you are using a gift card, the refund process will take eight to 10 business days. You will have to contact the merchant’s customer support team if the process takes longer than ten days.
If you have paid by gift card, you can request a refund. Then, you must tap the Done button, and then tap “Cancel” to cancel the transaction. Then, you should contact the recipient of your payment and ask them to issue a refund. In most cases, you will receive your money back in two to seven business days. Depending on the type of payment you made, it may take longer.
